Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law

You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. However, you are not required to purchase any goods or services from LuxReset Credit Solutions to exercise this right. You can do so on your own, at no cost, by contacting the credit bureaus directly:

Under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.), each credit bureau is required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure the accuracy of your credit report. If you dispute an item, the bureau must investigate and respond within 30 days.

Your Rights Under the CROA

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.), you have the following rights:

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your contract with LuxReset Credit Solutions without penalty or obligation within three (3) business days from the date you signed the contract.

Right to Sue

You may sue a credit repair organization that violates the Credit Repair Organizations Act. You may be entitled to recover your actual damages or the amount you paid to the organization, whichever is greater.

No Waiver of Rights

Any waiver of the protections provided under the CROA is void and may not be enforced by any court or other person.

Right to a Written Contract

You are entitled to receive a written contract from LuxReset Credit Solutions that details the services to be performed, the total cost, and the time frame for completion.

No Upfront Payment

A credit repair organization may not charge or receive payment for services until such services have been fully performed.

No Misrepresentations

A credit repair organization may not make any false or misleading statements, and may not advise you to make any statement that is untrue or misleading to a credit bureau or creditor.
