1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LuxReset Credit Solutions LLC ("LuxReset," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit luxresetcredit.com (the "Site") or enroll in our credit repair and credit education services (the "Services"). This Policy should be read together with our Privacy & Data Handling Notice, which describes in more detail how we handle the sensitive financial and credit-related information involved in providing the Services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address submitted through contact or enrollment forms; and, if you enroll, your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number, which we collect to verify your identity and initiate credit report access.

Information from your use of the Site: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through server logs. The Site does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.

Information generated through the Services: records created in your client portal, including dispute status, correspondence with consumer reporting agencies, and credit report data made available through your credit monitoring account.

Payment information: when you pay by card or Apple Pay, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe and/or Apple; LuxReset does not store your full card number.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to: provide and manage the Services, including preparing and submitting disputes on your behalf; verify your identity; process payments; communicate with you about your account; comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including CROA recordkeeping requirements; maintain the security of the Site and client portal; and, where you have agreed, send you marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only:

• With service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including our dispute-management platform(s) (currently DisputeFox and DisputeForMe), credit monitoring/report providers (SmartCredit and IdentityIQ), and payment processors (Stripe and Apple Pay), each of which is limited to using your information to provide services to us and you;
• With consumer reporting agencies and furnishers, as necessary to submit and pursue disputes on your behalf;
• When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LuxReset, our clients, or others; and
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to continued protection of your information under a policy at least as protective as this one.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking or retargeting pixels (such as Google Analytics or a Meta/Facebook Pixel). The Site may use essential cookies required for basic functionality, such as maintaining your session while you are logged into the client portal. If we add analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies in the future, we will update this section to describe them and, where required by law, provide additional notice or obtain your consent.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site, such as the client portal, from functioning properly.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the periods required by applicable law. CROA requires us to retain a copy of your signed disclosure statement and Client Service Agreement for at least two years after the date you sign. Following the end of your engagement and any applicable retention period, we securely delete or de-identify personal information we no longer need.

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses, such as targeted advertising or the sale of personal information (LuxReset does not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us at info@luxresetcredit.com. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18 years old.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including restricted access to client portal data and encrypted transmission of sensitive information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will revise the effective date above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
